Deputy Prosecuting Attorney, Blaine County, Idaho, 1977-1978. Blaine County Prosecuting Attorney, 1979-1985. Founder and senior partner, The Roark Law Firm, Twin Falls and Hailey, 1985 to present; Mayor, City of Hailey 1990-1993. Past President, Idaho Prosecuting Attorneys' Association; past member, Board of Directors, National District Attorneys' Association; former Chairman, Idaho Peace Officers Standards and Training (POST) Council. Member, American Bar Association; Idaho State Bar Association; National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys; Idaho Trial Lawyers Association; American Trial Lawyers' Association; Idaho Supreme Court Civil Rules Committee; Criminal Justice Advisory Committee, United States District Court for District of Idaho; American Inns of Court.

Mr. Roark has more than twenty-five years experience in civil and criminal defense litigation, personal injury and wrongful death litigation, construction litigation, domestic relations litigation, local and state government law and commercial litigation. Mr. Roark has received the highest possible rating (AV) from the national lawyer ratings firm, Martindale-Hubbell. He has personally tried over two hundred jury trials and argued appellate issues to the Idaho Court of Appeals, Idaho Supreme Court and United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He is licensed to practice before all state and federal courts of Idaho and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
